THAT LAST TOUCH
Don't Forget It When Packing Parcels!
Who does not love a Christmassy-look- ing parcel? A few years ago our thoughts never soared above brown paper and ordin- ary string, but now we have changed all that, except, of course, in the case of parcels which have to go by post.
To begin with, it is quite a good idea to tse coloured paper to wrap up the various packages. This not only looks much more attractive than brown paper, but it is much more pliable and amenable to folding. Fine twine is now made in all colours, or if it is a very dainty parcel, gold or silver thread could be used. Both practical and decorative, too, is the gummed adhesive ribbon that is sold in small rolls, and is quite inexpensive, the scarlet poinsettia printed on white or gold, holly and similar seasonable designs, giving a very decorative touch to the parcels adorned with them. There are, too, all sorts of gadgets that help to make your packages look festive and exciting-delightful little seals and labels and tags of decorative de- sign, bearing the "presentee's" name.
