REVIEW

At the annual meeting of the Clyde Navigation Trustees it was announced that the revenue for the year ending with June was £1,059,407-a decrease on that of the previous year of $24,030-and that the expenditure charged to revenue was 974,488-0 decrease of £38,633-leaving a Bur- plus of £85,000,

Sir William H. Raeburn, B., the 'chairman of the Trust, stated that, after 2 years' service as a member, he intended to retire in November-at the close of his present term of three yeurs. In making this announcement he reviewed the story of Glasgow Har bour during his period of membership.

There was not now alive ono other member of the Trust who was in office 12 years ago-in 1897-when he was Arst elected, sald Sir William. The membership had changed many times, and the constitution of the Trust had changed.
