EXTRAORDINARY THRILLING FINISH
HONG KONG JUST WIN
Shanghai Fail To Recover The “Ashes”
A MATCH TO BE REMEMBERED
[By "Short Head"]
Hong Kong on Saturday won the Interport lawn bowls match against Shanghai, thereby wiping out the stain on our escutcheon by reason of our defeat here in 1927, equalling Shanghai's record of winning two years in succession, and levelling up the winning re- cords of the rival ports since 1918.
