tide-table given below. has been obtained by aid of the Tide-pre- dicting Machine, which includes 40- components for the better prodiction of tides, from the result of the analysis of the tldal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal obferva tory under Doberck during the years 1887, 1888: the direction of Dr.. and 1889.

Seventy First Class passeri gers are continuing through on the vessel, which also carries a large in- transit cargo.
