Children's Sports The event was held on January 1, 1929, with its usual success. The thanks of the Committee are tendered to the many generous subscribers, and the ladies and gentlemen who so kindly Rssisted on that occasion.
Concerts
Two enjoyable smoking concerts were held during the year. Three open-air concerts were attempted, and, as usual,

It was a well contested match, each player taking two sets, but owing to failing light, the fifth and deciding set had to be left unfinished at 3 all.
