The market opened quite steady this morning with a slight rise in Ewos which were done at Tis. 17.25 cash and Tis. 16.10 for December for which ruth about 15,000 shares changed hands at Tis. 17 and Tis. 17.95 with buyers at Tix. 17.90 at the close. Shanghai Cotters, on the other hand. are decidedly weaker, business having been reported at Tis. 90 for December with more sellers at a lower figure.
