Four lots of Crown land at Kowloon were sold by public auction yesterday at the Crown Land Office; the prices in each case were slightly over $2 per square foot.
Kowloon Inland Lot No. 2212, situated at Nathan Road, and measur ing 14,250 square feet, was sold for $37,100 to Messrs. Kum Yu Shek and Ho Sui Wan. This lot carries with it an annual Crown rental of $164.
A pareol of 8,840 square feet of land of 8 per cent., subject to deduction situated at Shanghai Street, known as of tax, was declared; £8,000 was Kowloon Inland Lot No. 2213, was sold transferred to reserve account; that to Messrs.
