I must confess that I do not know much of the technique of billiards, but as I can play a little myself, I do know that billiards is one of the beat forms Fenner of indoor, sports, for it offers not only Bell scope for individual skill but also a Bruno good deal of cxercise. I am told that in Doig a game of a hundred points up, the Fitz Earle exercise that one would derive from the Yardley game is equivalent to walking a mile. Of course, it largely depends on who is playing; for instance, neither Mr. Maggs nor Mr. Stormies would have to walk any way near that distance.
