THE CHINA MAIL,

SHIP'S FALL TO STARBOARD AS ANOTHER PASS

Having come in with a cargo from overseas. Bad turned in the Thames before docking, it was a question in. the Admiralty Court how the Glasgow steamship "Sagaing," of 6,000 tona, came into collision with the steamer "Lovaas," which was passing her going down. The "Lovags" brought her action against the "Sagaing," and met the answer that the "Lovans” procceding down not too fast but too slow, so that a squall struck her star- board bow and drove her on the bow of the stationary ship.
