The report of the directors of the 14,804,380 New Amherst Rubber Estates, Ltd., show for the company's past year that the output of rubber for the year amounted to "295,330 lb., against an estimated output of 291,000 lb., and an output last year of 268,779 lb. Owing climate conditions the estimated output was not realised. The mana- ger estimates the output for current year at 265,000 lb.
There were 169,610 employees last year, and the sales were £212,200,329, upon which a surplus (mo,uding £1,200,721 as interest on share capital) was made.
