HEROINE OF SIX
In an unavailing effort to save her three-years-old brother from drowning, Evelyn Vera Kinchin, six, of Northcote Road, Tonbridge, pearly lost her own life recently.
The little boy, Neville Stephen Kinchin was playing on the sports ground near the River Medway when he fell info the water.
When his sister held out her hand to him, the boy grasped it and pulled her into the water.
