193. Pier at Aplichau for Urn Cemetery: To facilitate the landing of urns and headstones to the far side of Aplichau Island by the Sanitary Department, a contract was let to Messrs. Chung Lee & Co. for the erection of a small pier and causeway approach. This was completed satisfactorily in July, 1935, and the expenditure, which was small, was met by the Sanitary Department.
194. Dredging for Harbour Improvements: During the year, dredging was undertaken in the Central Fairway and West of Kowloon Peninsula on behalf of the Admiralty and the Hong Kong and Kowloon Wharf & Godown Company. The cost was proportionately shared.
195. Sewer at North Point: The construction of the septic tank on the foreshore together with a storage tank, pump house, and the installation of a 3" diameter centrifugal sewage pump were completed in August and the system has been working satisfactorily since that date.

201. Demolition of the "World" Pencil Factory, Kai Tak Airport: The work of demolition which was commenced in May and completed in July was carried out by Messrs. Koon Tai & Co. A credit of $1,250.00 was received from them for the old materials.
