Careless Handling Reckless driving was also alleged against the Chinese, driver of a public motor car.
It was stated that he cut into Wardley-street in front of another ear in order to forestall it in the matter of picking up fares landing from a launch at Queen's Pier. The defendant's careless handling: of his car nearly resulted in a European Traffic Sergeant being edged into the water.
A fine of $12 was imposed.
A similar fine of $12 was also imposed on a taxi driver for over- taking another taxi in the control area in Garden-road,
