Local tennis enthusiasts are promised some interesting matches this week in connection with the tennis tournament of the Hong Kong Cricket Club.

These matches, which will take place on the Stand Court are

The Chinese tried hard after this but could not secure the equaliser, and when the final whistle came the losers by the only they were goal of the match.

Navy Defeat Athletic This Second Division league match was played at Caroline Hill, the Navy springing a surprise by winning by the large margin of three goals to nil.

There was not much to choose between the teams for the first ten minutes, but then the Navy alipped in and Gray found the net with a

first timer.
