ENGLAND WINS "SUNDAY HERALD" CUP
THE CHINA
PORTUGAL'S PLUCKY FIGHT
As anticipated, England won the "Sunday Herald" Cup after a thrilling final with Portugal. The Portuguese team fully extended the strong English side until well on into the second half, when a slip by one of their backs allowed England to equalise from a penal- ty. England in a thrilling ten minutes added three more goals.
H.M.S. "Suffolk" surprised Kowloon, Peacock, the Navy cen- tre-forward, showing his skill.
Police again beat South China, this time in a friendly charity 25 match at King's Park. The Police made one or two changes in their forward line in anticipation of their forthcoming visit to Shang- hai for the Police Interport. 43 Sports.
