A "soccer game and a series On demand of tennis matches were played during the afternoon, the present | On demand pupils of the College being oppos. ed by past pupils.

Tea was served on the grounds by Lane, Crawford's restaurant.

Head Master's Tributes Addressing the gathering after the games, Mr. Crook thanked the old boys for coming there that afternoon to entertain them. He thanked Mr. Ip Kau-ko for bring- ing along an old boys' football eleven to play against the present pupils. As usual, Mr. Ip had got together a strong team and the present pupils were well beaten. But, then, it was only expected of them. If a combination of old boys could not beat the present pupils, they ought to be ashamed of themselves, and should not claim to be old boys of Queen's College.

Mr. Crook also thanked Mr. F. Grose for getting together a team of old boys to play tennis against the present pupils, and they also did what was expected of them as old boys. of “Q.C.”

After Mrs. Lindsell had dis- tributed the prizes, three hearty cheers were given her on the call of the head master. Then one of the College's youngest, students pre- sonted Mrs. Lindsell with a beau- tiful bouquet of red and white flowers, tied with red and white ribbons the College colours. At- tached to the bouquet was a plush case, in which was a gold pencil.

The pleasant afternoon termin- ated by Mr. Crook thanking Mra. ¡Lindsell for her presence and for kindly consenting to give away the prizes.
