Goldman Prominent
The match started in a buzz of. excitement, with Goldman very early prominent and the huge holiday crowd applauded brilliant work on England's right, and also deshing footwork by Suen and Fung. Tho game gave early promise of being a very good one, and the football was very bright. England, however, were more together early and Gold- man. receiving a nice pass from Barclay, beat Pau amid shout.

China were not showing so well at the start as they usually do, and Goldman was through again after a fine bit of work by Hooper who was playing on the extreme left. Eng- land's chance looked a big one now, and Ip Pak-wa for China and Hooper i for England both came very near, but it was left to Fungito score for China right on the interval after a faully clearance by Mott.

It was a rattling good display of football. The English team was

The reshuffled China team gave a bright display, the play of the forward line being brilliant, and the passing of the insides being of
high order at times. Wong Shui wei and Pang were the better of the halves, and the backs and Pau were good.
