The Season's Record
Tea having been sorved by the ladies, Mr. G. Henderson, on behalf of the Club, extended thanks to the visitors for their attendance.
As regards the Kowloon Dock Club, he could not help but feel a trifle disappointed with their per- formances this year. Last year they won the League without a de- feat, but this year had to be content with second place. They had also lost the Singles Championship of the Colony after holding it for three years in succession. As to the Spay Royal Cup "they were soon out of that."

Improvements
Now about the improvements and changes effected during the sum-
mer.---
The enclosures, paddock, betting booths, etc. are now close to the road,
over the course. thereby saving a tramp of 300 yards
The winning post has, necessarily, been removed with the stands. The straight is about 300 yards along, with a run in of about 200 yards. Except for the stretch in front of the stands, there are two tracks all round.
High side-fences have been put up at each jump to prevent, as far as 16 possible, ponies running wide when
shirking.
More Room Both the members' and the public enclosure are more roomy than of lyore and comfortable. And there is no need whatever to crowd 24 in the pari-mutuel and cash sweep stands where the arrangements have also been improved.
