At Happy Valley, Royal Navy's div. II team divided four goals with South China's "A" team. The latter scored first but were a goal down when ends were chang- ed and they subsequently equalised to share the points.

HOME SOCCER.
Friday, 19: R/A.O.C. v. H.Q. Wing, 1st Queen's, Chatham-road. Referee, B.Q.M.S. Hutchins, R.A. In the early play Navy attack-All matches start at 4.30 p.m. ed very strongly; but after ten minutes, the Chinese inside- right scored a nice goal from a difficult angle. Navy then scor. ed, thanks to a good goal by Sorble after 25 minutes' play. Navy were playing up strongly now and Skull put them ahead with a good shot just before the interval. :
The second half was very bright with Nuvy having a large share of the game. From a quick breakaway, however, the Chinese scored again, their Inside-right smashing in a good shot to make his second goal.
South China played smartly. They snatched a point because Navy were weak in front of goal and missed many chances.
For the R.N., Sorbie, Skull and Hammett (of the forwards) and Sims, Mist and Price did well.
South China's forwards were nippy. The inside-right's two goals were of the "opportunist" type and the right-back, centre-half and outside-left played well.
