Famous Equestrienne and “Babe."

This Roper Uses the Old Head.

This interesting picture shows May Wirth, noted circus rider, and her intelligent milk white Arabian steed, "Babe," without whose knack of increasing his tempo to suit his rider Miss Wirth would never, she insists, attempt anything so dangerous as the double somer- sault while riding bareback. The pretty star of the tanbark also v credits "Babe" with making her forward somersault possible.

After a 3,000-Mile Ride.

Good headwork is an asset in any line. If you don't believe it just look at the demonstration which "Strawberry Red" Wali, Calgary, Alb., cowboy, la staging in the above picture. He is seen making a perfect throw while doing a headstand and balancing himself with one hand.
