Four bags of mail from Italy for Hong Kong were destroyed When the postal car on which they were being conveyed from Ale- xandria to Port Said caught fire.
These mails were received at Alexandria from Naples on 8th May, 1928, and would probably have contained correspondence post- ed in Italy between the 29th April and the 6th May.
The Public are reminded that the 1 cent rate for circulars for addressees in the Colony or Weihaiwei applies only when such clr-, culars are posted in batches of not less than ten of uniform size and weight by being delivered to an officer of the Post Office.
