Dealing with the question of scaling operations in the White Sea, in the columns of an Oslo con- temporary, Captain Chr. Steenstrup states that this year six vessels have been lost, fourteen in 1927, seven in 1926 and nine in 1925, or a total of 36 in the four years, and he says that it is to be feared that, further losses will take place..
