Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps orders for the week, issued to-day by Lt. Col. L. G. Bird, D.S.0., Commandant, are as follow:—

Sunday, April 8, 1928: Blake Shield, Francis Cup, Jar Competi- tion, Plate Competition and Attack Competition.

Monday, April 9, 1928: Corps Championship and Tyro Competi- tion, Musketry Competition,, Re- serves Cup, and Lewis Gun Competi- tion. Revolver Competition both doys.

Entrance fees. All individual events $1 per man per competition, other events 50 cents per man, with the exception of Revolver Com petition (unlimited entries) for

which the fee is 20 cents per entry,

made on the range.

Intending competitors must send their names, accompanied by en, trance fees, not later than Monday, April 2, 1928, to the Hon. Secretary, Rife Meeting, Volunteer Head- quarters,
