MONEYLENDERS RUSE.

The Postmaster-General is, con, c sidering ways of dealing with money-lenders who defy the pro visions of the new Money-lenders Act and still circularise the public. The chief offenders are money- fenders with offices in Ireland. The new Act does not apply to North- ern Ireland or the Irish Free State, and therefore the authorities in this country cannot proceed against those persons for infringing the law.
