St. Joseph's gained two lucky and much needed points on their own ground (Mr. Philips being referee) at the expense of the Club in a fast and interesting game, the score not being a proper reflex of the play. The Club and the best of the play throughout with Howell the out- standing member of his vide. The Club forwards frequently falled to score from easy chances. At half: time the score was 1-0 in favour of St. Joseph's.
