ST. JOSEPH'S v, UNIVERSITY.
St. Joseph's ground. Mr. Lamb.
Referee:
The University went down again on Saturday when the collegiate side met St. Joseph's on that Club's ground.
St. Joseph's had practically all the play but frequently failed. lamentably in front of goni, the score of two to nil being a fair reflex of the contest. At two goals The University custodian did more than well.
CHINESE ATHLETIC T. SOUTH CHINA.
These teams met at King's Park the match being a rearranged fix- ture, owing to so many other junior games being postponed. The Athletic who were much the heavier side were soon pegging away at their opponents' goal and the inside right struck the cross- bar with a terrific shot which r bounded into play. South China made spasmodic raids on their 'opponents' goal but the Athletic were superlor and should have scored on several occasions.
The Athletic eventually scorel after a fine run down and centre by the outside right, which was completed by the inside forwards, Kwong scoring with a cross shot. There was no further scoring and a smart game ended in a well de- served win for the Athletic.
For the winners the backs were in fine form, the left back kicking strongly and the right wing was the superior wing forward; the centre
forward being above Division B class. South Chin's backs defended well and kicked strongly, but the forwards hesitated in front of goal and lost many chances.
UNPLAYED MATCHES.
R.A. v. Recreio.
This game was not played owing to the funeral of Mr. Fuertes of the Club de Recreio. All games were uspended for two minutes as a sign of respect.
KO.S.B. v. CLUB.
Owing to the Volunteer Sports, the Club were unable to field a
team against the Borderers and conceded the points for non appear.
ance.
In the Juniar "B" neither the S. China "A" v. Kung Woo, nor the Chinese Athletic v. Moslem game was played.
