'POSTPONEMENT OF' INTERPORT MATCH.

GAME WITH POLICE' TO-DAY.

The interport match with Shang- hai will not take place to-day owing to the inclement weather of the past two days rendering the ground un- fit for a game of such importance. This morning no rain fell and it is therefore hoped that the Shanghai interport team will play the Police Recreation Club on the latter's

The date for the interport match cannot be fixed until the weather is more settled, but it is hoped that it will take place on Saturday or Mon day.

This morning the Shanghai players paid a visit to the Craigen- Kower C. C., on whose green the Interport match is to be played. They seemed satisfied with its "drying" properties, and if the rain only holds off it might be nor- mally fast for the big game in a day or two.
