Lord Ritchie, chairman of the Port of London Authority, in the course of a speech at the annual inspection, said that the authority was going on with the provision at Tilbury of a proper landing stage where the Orient and P. and O. liners will disem- bark Australian passengers without the present delays. By the strictest economies the Au- thority was reducing the charges by 24 per cent. making a 10 per cent. reduction in two years.

October predictions will be sent out during Septem- ber. Atidal prediction was made for the month of June; 1927, and during Juns the vari ous factors were observed, ~|
