The appropriation requested by the Philippine Health Servion for next year, is much smaller than the amount alloted this year. The bureau was given F3,803.412 for 1927 and It needs for 1928 the sum of P3,616, 652 only.

Of the requested aum, P87,000 is to he spent in travelling expenses of the director and other officers of the service. For materials and uniforms for the Cullon Leper Colony, P1,421,570 would be alloted. A new ambulance and refrigeration machine, would be acquired for the San Lazaro Hospital Both are to cost P15,000,
