The twelfth annual general meet- ing of the Associacao Fortuguesa de Socorros Mutuos will be held at the Club Lusitano, on Thursday, August 26, at 5.30 p.m., for the pur pose of receiving the report of the committee and a statement of ac counts for the year ended December 31, 1026, and the election of a com- mitted and auditors for 1027.
During the past year, the mem- bership increased by 20 members to 296, though the committee do- plore the lack of Interest shown to wards this Association, and again appeal to members to make earnest endeavours to. enlist new associates.
