Lindsell), in the guests of honour at an official absence of the jury, heard argudinner in Parliament buildings. ment by the solicitors at noon Mr. Phillips read a message to-day on the point as to whe- from President Coolidge express ther or not the finding of the Marine Court of Inquiry as to the navigation of the steam launch "Moonshine" was admissible as evidence at the Coroner's In- quest.
The solicitors present were Mr. H. K. Holmes (Crown Solicitor), Mr. G. S. Hugh-Jones (for the owners of the 9.8. "Leung Kwong") Mr. G. K. Hall Brútton (for Capt. Although the finding that the "Moonshine" was properly navigated, in the public mind, cast reflection on the "Leung Kwong," it however, could not be taken as being against the "Leung Kwong." Mr. Hugh-Jones conceded, how-
