Buyers are beginning to realise
that shares can no longer he had at low prices and are gradually in-
creasing their limits.
At the close, the undertone was Arm.
Shanghai Market also shows an improvement, and buying orders are coming down for Docks and Cotions.
The following are the principal alterations since last week
Banks: A large number
of
shares changed hands at $1,065- $1,070 and closed with buyers at the former pries.
Unions-Have also changed hands on a large scale at $291/$292 and more are wanted at the former price.
Cantons:Have also been the medium of considerable business at *$625, $640,
