DUPLICATING SIGNALS.
Correspondence is published in the Chamber of Commerce annual report regarding the desirability of duplicating the Time Ball and Typhoon Signals in a position from which they would be more readily visible from the Western area of the Harbour.
The Government reply is to the effect that arrangements have been made with the Wharf and Godown Company for the erection of a signál staff on No. 48 Godown at Kowloon Point and that the work would be undertaken by the Company at the expense of the Government.
