The women of Oxford and Cam- bridge Universities to-day rowed their first boat race. The race, which took place on Iaus at Oxford, was on naval lines, the crews start ing at different times.
The course was half a mile long, and the erewa were judged on style.. while rowing down the river and on speed while rowing back. Two un pires awardad: equal points for style, and the race went to Oxford for speed.
