"ALTERATION OF RULES
DISCUSSION.
Two recommendations by the xeneral committee were discussed!
at an extraordinary meeting of the Kowloon Football Club held yester day, one being passed without com- ment and the other with in amend ment.
The recommendations read:
tu) the reinstatement of Rule 58- in the following revised form should be made: "All matters, not specifleally provided for in these rules shall be left be the decision
of the General Committee who shall have power to make bye-laws "And whose ruling shall be conclu-
sive,"
(b) that the medication, of Bye inw dated November 1, 1925, words after "$40" to read "except at the discretion of the Treasurer, Gencial or of a Member of the Committee." The bye-law would then read: "A member's indebted- ness to the Club, shall at no time exceed $40, except at the discre- tion of the Treasurer, or of a
Member of the General Commit
tee."
Mr. J. Ormiston (chairman) pro- posed (a); which was carried an animously.
Mr. Terry proposed an amend- ment to (b) substituting the words "general committee" for "treasurer or a member of the general cam- mitree." His opinion was that it was unfair that the onus of sus- pending a member should rest on one man. Mr. G. Walker, hon, trea- Surer seconded; quoting rule 31.
that Mr. Ormiston, pointed out worded in such a way, the bye-law would become cumbersome.. The amendment was carried with only three dissentients,
