Suggestions for improvement of the Kowloon waterfront such as the extension of the railway station colonnade in front of the Star ferry wharf are before the consideration of the Government. it is understood, other alterations under consideration being the pro- vision of separate stopping places. for private cars, omnibuses and rieshas. Wish the increase vehicular traffic on the mainland the problem of regulating it with a minimum of inconvenience: has become a difficult one.
The Police have already taken a step in the right direction in making the buses take up their stand outside the old Police pier instead of on the south side of the "island" where ricshas coming) from the enclosed "stand" greatly incommoded passengers.
