Peace on the Masonic Memorial stated that the Grand Master has consented to lay the foundation-stone of the Peace Memorial Building (to be erected on the site Great Queen Street, Wild Street, and Wild-court) on July 14, 1927. The fund is pro- gressing steadily, and the number of lodges which have attained, or are pledged to attain the Hall Stone qualification is now 1,000, while the total invested to the credit of the fund is £608,850.
