FORTUNE TELLER MEETS: ADVERSITY.

ROBBED ON THE HIGHWAY.

A highway robbery is reported from the Kowloon City district, the victim being a fortune-teller who, with his son, were on their way home past the walled city at about 11 o'clock last night.

Three men emerged from the shadow of a gate and one of them pounced on the victim's neck and together they forced him to the ground.

Two American gold coins and jewellery amounting to a total of $43 were stolen and the robbers disappeared in the direction of Sai Tau.
