Captain Harris inspected the NEW YORK and/or BOSTON vin PANAMA. runks, and in a few brief words!! expressed his keen appreciation at the large number of men who had turned up to bid him farewell. observing that the arrangements had been kept entirely in the dark jas far as he was concerned. Captain Harris said that he felt sure that his wife, who had gone, jon beard earlier in the morning, would very much regret not hav- ing been present, and accepted on her behalf, a handsome. Captain Harris wished the Company every success during This absence, saying that he woukt follow their activities with the keenest interest and hoped that they would have a jolly time and "come out top dogs at the Annual Inspection."
