London, March 5 There was an echo of the Hayley Morrisa: case at the Old Bailey where an engineer named Charles Gervais was sentenced to a year in the second division on a charge of attempting to obtain 2400 on false pretences from the administrator of Hayley Mor ries' estate.
It was alleged that Gervais, in return for the money, promised to secure preferential treatment for Hayley Morriss in Portsmouth Prison
