South China carried out their threat of not turning out their senior team to play the Police in lcugue football match on the ILK.P.C. ground on Saturday afternoon.

They maintain that it was their "home" match and, accordingly they should have choice of venue. Their wish was to play on the Sookurapoo "A" ground of the Garrison Club.

It is stated that the Hongkong Football League management re- mained adamant. A deadlock Was reached and the game did not come off.
