The tide table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Offee in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by maana of an automatic tide-recording maschine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Toni during
the years 1908-9. zero of the table corresponds with The zero the zero of the sounding in the Ad- miralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean sea-level To obtain the depth of water on the tide gange at the Victoria Naval Tard' add 8 feet 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 fost 4 inches to the height given in the table.
