TREVESSA TROPHY.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR RACE.
TO-MORROW..
To-morrow afternoon the fourth bi-annual race for the Trevessa Trophy will be sailed. This race was inaugurated in memory of a wonderful performance and show of endprance by a small party, of British, seamen under Captain Foster...
Each of the races previously - contested · bave produced keen competition and a fine show of endeavour on the part of officers and crews of many ships which call at this port.
Interest is not merely national For on the first occasion a Dutch ship won the trophy in fine style. The next two races were won by Douglas steamers after keen struggles.
it.is early to say exactly how many entries there will be this year but it is expected that they will not be less than last year when nearly twenty boats went to the starting line. The course is from Channel Rocks to Kowloon Rock, a mark us the Yacht Club, | Cust. Rock and the finish at tho Yacht Club. As hitherto all arrangements are in the hands of the committee of the Royal Hong- kong Yacht Club. A launch ist being provided for those who may wish to follow the race and it w Teave Queen's Pier at 3 para, to-
