GOVERNMENT'S FIRM ATTITUDE ENDORSED.
EDUCATION BOARD MEETING.
The decision of the Governor- In-Council regarding treatment of striking students was announced at yesterday's meeting. of the Board of Education. It was to the following effect: All boya. over the age of 16 years who left any Government School without the permission of the school authorities before the school clos- ed shall be refused re-admission to that school or admission to any other Government or Government aided school in the Colony. Each new pupil admitted to a Govern- ment English School (Boys') shall on admission pay Aл entrance fee of $30 to be refund- ed when the pupil leaves if his conduct has been uniformly good.
