The comtesse, who is 62, is charged with the manslaughter of her husband, Comte Roger de Kerninon, the twentieth bearer of the title.
According to the indictment, the comtesse made the acquaintance of her future husbandin Algiers, where de was a music-hall singer. In August 1924, they went to stay with M.
