Shanghai, April 7-Tan Hao- ming, ex-Military Governor of Kuang, was murdered yesterday morning at his residence in the French Concession. According to the police, Tan Hao-ming was sitting at breakfast, when a servant, who had been in his employ eight years, is alleged to have approached him from behind and fired a revolver three times, one of the shots proving fatal. The noise attracted the police, who, it is reported,' found the servant attempting to commit suicide, having wounded himself,. and he was taken to hospital. The motive for the crime is obscure and there is no evidence of any political significance.-Courtesy of the Daffy Bulletin:
