Rumours of a contemplated change in the Managing Director. ship were referred to by a shareholder at to-day's meeting of the Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Ltd. and he was assured that no such change had been considered. A year of uphill work was reported and the shareholders approved the report which was described by the secorder as being one of achievements requiring organising power of the highest order.
