Mr. Albert Edward Stiven, of the staff of the Borneo Company Ltd., passed away at the Bangkok Nursing Home. Mr. Stiven was one of the old members of the for eign community in Bangkok. After some years in Burma he went to Bangkok in 1892 as manager for the same Company, On return from leave in 1898 he was again sent to Burma, but went to Bang kok to relieve Mr. Halliday "in 1899, and has been there ever since. Following the destruction of the Arracan Co.'s mill he joined the Borneo Company, I.td. in 1001 or 1902, as rice inill manager, and had been connected with their produce department, ever since.
