--The tide table given below has been complied at the National"Almanac. Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Bollea Basin at Telm Cha Twul during the years 1908-9.79
The sera of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Ad- miralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean sea-level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tido gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard- add & feet 4 inches, and on the gangs at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4 Inches to the height given in the table.
