London, July 5:—A new era in wireless was opened last night, when, from the commencement practically to the end of the journey, wireless messages and! broadcasting programmes received and wireless messages transmitted on the 7.38 Aberdeen express, from King's-cross in the of its run as far as Newcastle-on-Tyne.
